MATTHEW CROTTY (he/him) is a documentary producer and director. Over nine years at PBS stations KCET/PBS SoCal, he created a wide range of original documentaries and docu-series including historical biographies, artist profiles, social movement histories, as well as films about environmental justice issues and Indigenous peoples. Notable projects include Tending the Wild, Tending Nature, Artbound, Lost LA, Earth Focus, The Migrant Kitchen, The New West, Prop 187: The Rise of the Latino Vote and Broken Bread. He has won 23 Los Angeles Area Emmy® Awards, 17 LA Press Club Awards and 10 Golden Mike Awards®. Matthew is a born and raised Angeleno. More of his work can be seen here.

FRANCESCA ROTH (she/her) is a narrative film writer/director, documentary producer, and has spent the majority of her career as an IATSE 892 costume designer for feature films, TV and commercials. Her writing/directing debut, Tooth & Nail, was awarded the Panavision New Filmmaker Program Grant and is slated to hit the festival circuit in 2025. Her costume design work includes feature films Trees of Peace (Netflix), Unlovable (MGM/Orion), Justine (Array), TV shows for NBCUniversal/Snap, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, Funny or Die, Eko and Quibi, commercials for Nike, Facebook, Instacart, GE and Volkswagen, to name a few, and music videos for John Legend, Snoop Dogg and Yacht.
